Let the adventure BEGIN

Just because you can’t be with your dog all the time doesn’t mean she has to be left at home alone. At doggie playcare, your dog will get plenty of exercise while socializing with other furry friends in a safe, supervised setting. And no more chewing up the furniture, accidents on the carpet, or incessant barking from being lonely and bored at home!

To play at Rex & Roxy’s, your dog must:

Be non-aggressive
Be spayed or neutered
Pass a day of temperament testing – this must be scheduled in advance.
Have current vaccinations, including kennel cough
We strongly recommend the canine flu (H3N2) vaccine
Be at least 4 – 6 months old, please call for clearance.

Dogs are not “rotated” or “grouped” for socializing according to size and temperament. At Rex & Roxy’s all dogs play together. If you have a small dog that likes to be around big dogs, this is the place for you. Newcomers are carefully introduced into playgroups to ensure everyone’s safety.

Temperament Test Day:

The temperament test is your dogs first day at Rex & Roxy’s. We must receive all vaccinations prior to this day. They may be faxed to 678-783-7635 or emailed to mail@rexandroxys.com. This day must be scheduled in advance and Rex & Roxy’s must have availability for that day.

Call 404-377-9699 or enroll your dog on-line for the temperament test. You must be contacted by a RNR Staff member to ensure your reservation.

RULES: (In addition to vaccination records)

All Temp Test Dogs must be checked in between 7 am – 9 am the day of the test.
Please give yourself about 5 – 10 minutes to fill out a release form and ask any questions.
Dogs must stay an entire day. Absolutely no half-days for temperament tests. You may pick your dog up after 3 pm.
Tours of the facility are given between 3 pm – 5 pm. So please schedule accordingly.
Dogs must show absolutely no aggression towards other dogs or the RNR Staff.
RNR Handlers will introduce your dog into the playgroup – you are not allowed back with your dog (this just creates anxiety)
RNR Staff will notify you during the day only if there are any issues or problems with the temperament test.
Certain dog breeds or dogs may be required to do multiple temperament tests – this is at the discretion of RNR Handlers and you will be notified.
Temp Tests are $25 and non-refundable.
Once dog is cleared, you may come to daycare or schedule boarding visits any time. Welcome!

Rex & Roxy’s Puppy Playcare program is absolutely the best environment for your growing puppy.

We know, firsthand, how difficult it is to leave a puppy at home while we are at work all day. Instead of leaving your puppy in a crate at home for 8 to 12 hours, bring your puppy to Rex & Roxy’s for the day. We developed our Puppy Playcare service to address the needs of new puppy owners.

At Rex & Roxy’s, your puppy will:

Play in a clean, safe and loving environment with other puppies and smaller dogs
Receive constant supervision and attention from our Canine Specialists
Learn the important skills of dog and human socialization…this is necessary to become a confident, happy, well-adjusted full-grown dog citizen
We make sure that your puppy is fed on schedule and has naptimes for healthy growth and development

No need to worry about a bored puppy chewing your furniture or shoes at home
Stop the separation anxiety that your puppy experiences because of loneliness (remember, dogs are naturally pack animals)
Stop worrying about your puppy having accidents in the house or holding his bladder all day (because they can’t)
Know that your puppy is learning to play with other dogs and getting lots of exercise to relieve all of that puppy energy

How to Join the Fun:

Your puppy must be current on his puppy vaccination series, including Kennel Cough
Bring a lunch portion of your puppy’s food for feeding during the day
